Open DVD Software

Currently, OpenDVD has not developed any software. Hopefully this will change in the near future, as our members become more available.

Here are some links to sites that have good software resources:

  • The Linux Video and DVD Project (aka LiViD) is developing software for improved video and DVD support for GNU/Linux systems, and other free open source computer operating systems.
  • The 7th Zone has links, resources and utilities for DVD.
  • The Open Video Disc project, or OVD is developing a set of guidelines for using royalty free video and audio formats (ideally) for created video content to be stored on DVDs.
